YOUTH MINISTRY
The TUMC Youth program is open to all students in grades 6-12. Youth Sunday School happens on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour and there is weekly Youth Group on Sunday evenings. Throughout the year, TUMC has retreats, social events, and other opportunities for the youth to worship and socialize with their peers. Youth are also encouraged to volunteer at the church as greeters, ushers, and liturgists.
Youth Sunday School
Sundays | 9:30-10:45AM | Youth Attic
Youth Sunday School meets from 9:30-10:45AM for grades 6th-12th in the Youth Attic. Students are currently immersed in a study called “I Am,” a deep dive into God’s attributes.
Youth Group
Sundays | 11:00AM | Youth Attic
Youth Group is a special time for fellowship, small group discussions, and games. Youth Group is an entirely different experience than Sunday School, so students are welcome to attend Sunday School and Youth Group, or choose one or the other.
On the first Sunday of every month, youth will come to the 11:00 service as a group to worship and share Holy Communion together.
For the next several weeks starting June 9, we will be discussing relationships in Youth Group with a series titled, “How to Get Along.”

TUMC Youth meets with other youth groups from across the Capital District for different events and activities throughout the year. Upcoming District Youth Events include:
